It's beautiful! I note there are some "made up" bits of information, and suggest my own NF biography of Biddy Mason, WITH OPEN HANDS, as a good pairing with this book. I agree, not much written history on her at all. The Mormon research library, UCLA, FAME Church, newspapers and diaries and journals of the time, and Biddy Mason's own descendants in Los Angeles were extremely helpful in providing documentation for my book. We're always looking for good pairings, and I think this might be one of them.
